Perfect guard added. Raise your guard moments before receiving damage to evade all damage. Perfect guarding a melee strike will stun the opponent in return.
Zen:This is an experimental feature and may be removed in a future patch if it doesn't fit with the existing gameplay.
You must raise your guard explicitly before receiving damage, it cannot be buffered or the shift key already held.
Mashing the guard key will not engage the system.
Briefly dropping your guard to raise it at the right time is eligible for a perfect guard.
The only ranged attack that can be perfect-guarded currently are sniper rounds.
Melee weapons dash further
Zen:This is to assist eith gap-closing for melee players and to encourage more technical play from ranged players. The increased momentum also feels better and is more intuitive.
Made juggling slightly easier. This should also make it easier to juggle the host.
New "Pistol" weapon type added. Available to Ivan and Elena.
Elena can now equip Shotguns, for an old-school GunZ experience.
All characters sprint 13% faster, to facilitate stealthier engagements
Ivan
Sniper reload time increased.
Zen:Ivan's sniper is still by far the best weapon in the game and is extremely oppressive at mid to long range. With an increase to the reload time, it provides an opportunity for other classes to counterattack.
Ivan can now equip the new Pistol weapon type. Click and drag a pistol into his loadout to equip it.
The cape on the Western Silent Avenger avatar has been re-enabled.
Rena
Fixed the movement bug that forced continued player movement upon raising her guard
Butterfly and Lunge attacks are now 10% faster
Zen:Rena still struggles to compete with Ivan's larger hitboxes, but now she has a minor (but distinct) melee speed advantage
Elena
Elena can now equip Shotguns and the new Pistol weapon type. Click and drag a shotgun or pistol into her loadout to equip it.
Max
Shield show animation/delay can now be cancelled by Guarding, in line with all other classes
Zen:As a result, Max should feel significantly more responsive in melee combat, especially now that Perfect Guarding is available and being able to guard at short notice is important.

Drop rate from NPCs remains the same in campaign Normal mode, making it more forgiving for new players
Drop rate from NPCs in campaign Hard mode has been halved to keep the difficulty the same, but now there is more reward for venturing out to collect dropped pickups when under fire
AP pickups on Optimite Refinery map have been removed/reduced
Kill and assist crediting has been overhauled and upgraded
